Jr. Storytellers – Author Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: August 08, 2026


These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your submission of a book (“Work”) to Jr.
Storytellers (“we,” “our,” “us”) for consideration to be featured and promoted through our
platform, website, and associated programs. By checking the box on the submission form, you
(“Author,” “you,” “your”) agree to these Terms.


1. Eligibility
To submit a Work for consideration, you must:

  • Be an active Storyteller in good standing (subscribed at any level, with a completed

  • Storyteller Profile and a cleared, uploaded background check).

  • Be at least 18 years old or have a parent/guardian submit on your behalf.

  • Own all necessary rights to the Work you submit, including text, illustrations, and cover art.

2. Rights You Grant Us
By submitting your Work, you grant Jr. Storytellers:

  • Non-exclusive rights to feature, display, and promote your Work on our website, newsletters, social media, and marketing materials.

  • The right to create and distribute a Storyteller Reading Guide & Curriculum to accompany your Work.

  • The right to make reasonable adaptations for formatting, marketing, and promotional purposes (without altering the creative essence of your Work).

 

You retain full copyright and all publishing rights to your Work, including the right to sell,
license, or distribute it elsewhere.


3. What You Get
If your Work is selected:

  • You keep 100% of your book sales.

  • We promote your Work through our channels and link to your online store or POD listing.

  • We provide the complimentary Storyteller Reading Guide & Curriculum mentioned above.

 

We do not guarantee any minimum level of promotion, audience reach, or sales.

4. Author Representations & Warranties
By submitting your Work, you confirm that:

  • You are the sole author or authorized representative of the Work.

  • The Work does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, moral rights, or privacy/publicity rights of others.

  • The Work contains no defamatory, obscene, or unlawful content.

  • Any third-party materials (e.g., illustrations) are properly licensed or used with permission.

 

You agree to indemnify and hold Jr. Storytellers harmless against any claims, damages, or
liabilities arising from a breach of these warranties.


5. Selection & Removal

  • Submission does not guarantee acceptance. Selection is at the sole discretion of Jr. Storytellers.

  • We reserve the right to remove your Work from promotion at any time for any reason, including but not limited to legal concerns, copyright disputes, or violation of these Terms.

  • You may request removal of your Work with 30 days’ written notice, after which all promotions will be discontinued.

6. No Fees & No Compensation

  • We do not charge Authors any submission or promotional fees.

  • We do not pay Authors directly for featuring their Work. All sales are processed through your existing retail or POD channels.

7. Privacy & Data Use

By submitting your Work, you consent to us collecting and storing your contact information for
communication, marketing, and recordkeeping purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law
principles.
